Amongst our team, we have a wooden boat specialist who has an in-depth knowledge of all wood types, forms and applications. Including interior and exterior fitting and knowledge of all types of paints and applications.

GRP/Fibreglass

We have team members who can provide any GRP and fibreglass services needed including application and painting. We are always available if you need advice so do not hesitate to call.

Valeting

We have 3 skilled valeters within our team now who work to the highest of standards. Our valeters also boast a vast knowledge of the latest techniques and products and are more than willing to talk to each customer individually to assess the requirements of each vessel.

Rigging

We have a qualified team of rigging specialists who can replace, or service & repair any type of rigging. They also cover:

Rig checks: Visual or Electronic Non Destructive Testing.
Swaging, Tallurit, Rope and Wire to Rope Splicing.
Installation and setting up, not only for Masts and Rigging, but also for Roller Headsail Units and Mainsail Systems.
Lazy Jacks, Single Line Reefing, Kicker Systems.

Winter lay-ups

Shipshape Marine cover all bases and can use our combined knowledge to protect each boat for the winter in the most efficient method. This entails Engine winterisation followed by a full lay-up process.

Summer preparation

When the summer rush comes, ShipShape Marine are fully prepared to get each boat back on the water with no hassle and great speed. One of the most frustrating things is to see the sun shining and know you boat is waiting to be launched.

Engines

Shipshape Marine can supply Engines, parts and full technical backup on 2 strokes and 4 strokes we also have access to full testing facilities for leisure and commercial units from 2H.P. to 225 H.P. We cover technical services for inboard and outboard motors throughout the range.
